Overdue

At long last, some fall break pictures! Sorry to keep my public (all 2 of you) waiting.

In mid-October, a friend and I went camping just outside the little town that has stolen my heart - betcha can't guess what state these pictures were taken in! It was a bit chilly, with one night in the lower twenties and frost inside the tent, but I loved (almost) every minute. I just feel more real and alive when I'm living out-of-doors. Here are some highlights . . .

A passage from Blood Brothers by Father Elias Chacour, a Palestinian Christian archbishop and Nobel Peace Prize nominee:

"If there is a problem somewhere," he said with his dry chuckle, "this is what happens. Three people will try to do something concrete to settle the issue.
